In 1903 this picture of the Infant Class shows Headmaster Mr A.B Marchant with Miss Dinnis who had begun her service as Infant Teacher in 1890.

In the Edwardian era the fashion for boys was still the 'Sailor' outfit from late Victorian times with hob-nail boots. The girls wore pinafores, sleeveless dresses worn over a blouse or jumper. The man second from left is Headmaster Mr A.J. Moon and Miss Dinnis, on the right ,who went on to complete 42 years of continual service at Trekenner until she retired in 1932. According to the report in the Cornish & Devon Post she was 'presented by scholars, past and present, with a portable wireless set'.

In May 1911 the Headmaster appointed was Mr W.W. Edwards but departed to join the armed forces in May 1916 to contribute his services in the First World War. He returned as Head in February 1919 where he remained in continual service until his death in November 1942. Above he is pictured with his class in 1930.

Another distinguished career was pursued by the headmaster Mr Lionel Coombes from 1943 until his retirement in December 1974 after 31 years.

Here Mr Coombes is pictured with his wife and three children.

On 11th July 2003 the school celebrated its 125th anniversary. The children and staff, including current Headteacher Mr David Reardon, dressed in period costumes. The day was commemorated with a thanksgiving service, followed by a school performance and afternoon tea party. Mr E. Budge (on the left) attended the school as a pupil in the 30s.
Today the school is very proud that fifth generation pupils attend the school to follow the family tradition. Current teacher Mrs Judith Cayzer attended the school as a pupil as did her father and grandfather.
