Class 2a
Ms Ward teaches class 2a in the mornings. The 19 children range from age 7-9 from year 3 and 4. Mrs Davies is the Learning Support Assistant. This term with the help of artist Krystyna we have been creating our own animated films using plasticine models that we move a tiny fraction at a time, record and it gives the impression of movement when played sequentially.
We designed and made our own parachutes and tested them outdoors. This certainly helped when we created 'eggachutes' during our Easter festivities.
We made some brilliant models of teeth as part of a topic on healthy lifestyles.
We also investigated separating materials.
We had fun exploring how our brains work during 'Brain Awareness Week'.
We have started a samba band which we practise in the outdoor shelter.
