Currently we have 21 children ranging in age from 4-7. The teachers are Mr Reardon and Mrs Cayzer who share teaching time. Mrs Judge supports the Foundation Stage children in the morning and Mrs Collings supports in the afternoon.  

As part of our healthy living topic we have been painting fruit as well as eating it! We also did hand and foot print painting outside.

The Reception group created their own books of favourite nursery rhymes

Here they are exploring 2-D shapes and role-playing in the 'home' corner.

 As part of a topic called 'Ourselves' the children painted self-portraits.

We learned more about the names and uses of the various parts of our body. We also explored healthy lifestyles, including balanced meals.

We discovered about the wonderful world of animals. We followed the journey of Charles Darwin around the globe as he worked out his ideas about natural selection and the adaption of species to their surroundings.

                                                                             We heard strange tales about life deep in the oceans.

We made paper boats using origami techniques then coated them in wax and then tested them for buoyancy as part of our topic on boats.
